A new brew from the hops at Borough Market Hall!

Borough Market has christened its first ever bitter Borough Barrow, following a nationwide search to find the perfect name to mark its 1,000th anniversary. The beer was brewed using hops grown, dried and harvested on site as part of Wayward's design for Borough Market Hall.

Borough Market MD Keith Davis added: “Southwark has a rich history of brewing having once been home to the world’s largest brewery so it made sense for Borough to launch it’s own anniversary beer to mark 1,000 years in the area. We were inundated with clever, witty and unique names but left it to the public to select their favourite. Borough Barrow is a fitting name for our craft bitter.”
