Helsinki Plant Tram shortlisted for a D&AD Yellow Pencil!

The Helsinki Plant Tram (2012) by Wayward Plants has been shortlisted for the prestigious D&AD Yellow Pencil design award!

D&AD celebrates and nurtures outstanding work in design and advertising. The Yellow Pencil is recognised the world over as a symbol of the very highest creative achievement.

Tim Lindsay, Chief Executive of D&AD wrote of the Spatial Design nominees:

“This is a category that always throws up a wide range of work – from the Olympic Cauldron to an eco-tram system. But it is also one in which we honour iconic work that has been seen and  enjoyed by millions across the world – from monumental sculpture to cutting edge interactive  technology to transport projects – a clear demonstration of design’s ability to engage, enthral and enchant an international public.”
