In 2014, Wayward created a window display for the iconic department store Selfridges, named “the World’s Best Department Store”. Selfridges’ Summer’14 campaign ‘Meet The Makers’ invited artists, innovators and food designers that inspire and shake the food world, to transform their infamous London store windows.
Wayward designed, built and installed a dual-sided living waterfall, growing hydroponic cress and an array of colourful, edible leaves. Wayward’s ‘Meet the: Landscape Architects‘ display aimed to facilitate the connection between growing and eating, exploring healthier and more environmentally-conscious choices.
